Masterful serving by Serena Williams, who blasted ground strokes without regard for family ties, had her defeating her sister Venus in Saturday's all Williams Wimbledon final 2009. Serena Williams embraced Venus, after the match in the women's singles final on Wimbledon's Centre Court.
The match was close through the first set, with each of Williams sisters holding serve. But Serena ramped up her power and precision in the second set and closed the contest, 7-6 (3), 6-2, in 87 minutes.
