Gary Oldman let it slip on Friday at 2009 Comic Con convention that a new Batman movie is set to start filming next year. "We start filming the next 'Batman' next year, which means it won't come out for another two years," Oldman said, before adding in a sly tone, "but you didn't hear that from me."
Gary Oldman, played as Commissioner Gordon in the previous Batman movies - "Batman Begins" and "The Dark Knight" - was promoting another movie, thriller "The Book of Eli," when he was asked about plans for a third Batman movie in Christopher Nolan's hit series.
No details of a third Nolan "Batman" flick have ever been announced and a Warner Bros. spokeswoman declined to comment, which only added mystery to intrigue.
Scarlett Johansson is planned to take on Tony Stark in her upcoming new movie Iron Man 2 but the hot celebrity said her biggest challenge was getting ready for the Lycra catsuit she has to wear as the Black Widow. The 24 year old actress said the sight of her Black Widow suit helped her through the training and stunt work needed for the Iron Man 2 movie. Rickey Henderson was inducted into the Baseball Hall of Fame on Sunday. He was joined by Jim Rice and Joe Gordon. Henderson said in his Hall of Fame speech, "My journey as a player is complete. I am now in the class of the greatest players of all time, and at this moment I am very humbled."
Rickey Henderson, now 50, is the holder of many records including runs scored (2,295), steals (1,406), lead-off homers (81) and unintentional walks (2,129). He also holds the record for the most steals in a season (130).
