Rumors about the sequel to The Dark Knight movie have flooded ever since the blockbuster hit theatres in 2008. Now Hollywood lords have come out to end speculation about the next Batman movie - insisting there isn't even a script yet for the superhero sequel.
There have been many reports about the possible addition of feline femme fatale Catwoman to the next movie in Christopher Nolan's movie franchise, with a British tabloid reporting over the weekend that Megan Fox is in negotiations to take the coveted role. Angelina Jolie, Cher and Kate Beckinsale have also been linked to the part, while Shia LaBeouf, Johnny Depp and Eddie Murphy have also been in rumored negotiations concerning the movie.
Movie bosses have confirmed they do want to shoot another Batman movie, but they are adamant that the project is in the very early stages and producers haven't even discussed casting yet. A representative for the Warner Bros. film studio tells People.com, "It's rumor. It's not true. There is no script. There is no project to be cast in."

Inglourious Basterds, a new western-style war movie starring Brad Pitt has been turned into a graphic novel for Playboy magazine by director Quentin Tarantino. Tarantino has adapted a scene from his new war movie into a comic strip for the new issue of the men's magazine. The six-page short features an animated Brad Pitt and co-stars Richard Sammell and Eli Roth.

Gary Oldman let it slip on Friday at 2009 Comic Con convention that a new Batman movie is set to start filming next year. "We start filming the next 'Batman' next year, which means it won't come out for another two years," Oldman said, before adding in a sly tone, "but you didn't hear that from me."
Gary Oldman, played as Commissioner Gordon in the previous Batman movies - "Batman Begins" and "The Dark Knight" - was promoting another movie, thriller "The Book of Eli," when he was asked about plans for a third Batman movie in Christopher Nolan's hit series.
No details of a third Nolan "Batman" flick have ever been announced and a Warner Bros. spokeswoman declined to comment, which only added mystery to intrigue.
The Comic Con 2009 lineup features a who's-who of the movies and TV shows that will take the fandom community by storm next months. Comic Con is now a place where fans can see the first new footage from those programs, and get even bigger teasers from the masterminds behind them in a Q&A panel.

Jennifer's Body is written by Diablo Cody and is directed by Karyn Kusama. Spider-Man spin-off movie, Venom may feature Stan Lee, the former president and chairman of Marvel Comics in cameo. It has been confirmed by screenwriters Paul Wernick and Rhett Reese who said that they have already written a character for Lee.
Stan Lee indeed has appeared in cameos as one-scene character in some movies based on Marvel characters he had created. In Spider-Man, Lee helped pulling a girl away from falling debris as Spider-Man struggles against the Green Goblin. Despite what the stars involved in Resident Evil: Extinction have said at the press conference (mostly, "this is the final chapter"), the movie ending seems to be set for the installment of Resident Evil 4.
Will Paul W.S. Anderson direct the Resident Evil 4 movie? He revealed that he wrote another movie late last year. And Capcom was getting involved. He told, "Everyone was excited." A report by Shock Till You Drop (STYD) said that Sony's Screen Gems is looking to get Resident Evil 4 into US theaters by September 17, 2010 with title Resident Evil: Afterlife. STYD claimed it was from an internal memo circulating through the Sony offices.
Anderson remained coy on whether Resident Evil 4 would center on Milla Jovovich's Zombie slayer Alice or Ali Larter's Claire Redfield. So far, Jovovich has yet to confirm her involvement as Alice in the movie. Words are, the story will shift to Tokyo, Japan as hinted in the end of "Resident Evil: Extinction".
