The Comic Con 2009 lineup features a who's-who of the movies and TV shows that will take the fandom community by storm next months. Comic Con is now a place where fans can see the first new footage from those programs, and get even bigger teasers from the masterminds behind them in a Q&A panel.
The Twilight: New Moon panel alone has been making Twilight fans sleep in line for their panel. New New Moon footage will be shown, followed by appearances from starlets Robert Pattinson, Kristen Stewart and Taylor Lautner at the New Moon panel.
Another big Comic Con story is the return of Iron Man. In 2007, the panel for the original Iron Man was wildly credited with putting the movie on the map, and paving the way for the film to become a giant blockbuster. The Comic Con 2009 will display new footage and teasers for Iron Man 2, as Robert Downey Jr, Jon Favreau and company look to repeat their Comic Con success.
Other highly anticipated panels belong to James Cameron's 3D epic Avatar, Tim Burton's Alice in Wonderland - whose Comic Con teaser trailer was already leaked to the Internet - and to the new Nightmare on Elm Street, with Jackie Earl Haley as the new Freddy Krueger. Read More and Pics...

Leave This Town, Daughtry's album, gets into The Billboard 200 at #1. It has made the band's vocalist/leader, Chris Daughtry, the first American Idol contestant to land back-to-back #1 albums. Daughtry rang the bell for two weeks in early 2007. Kelly Clarkson is the only other American Idol alum to put two #1 albums, and hers weren't consecutive. She topped The Billboard 200 chart with her first and fourth albums. This obviously makes Chris Daughtry the first Idol alum who didn't win the competition to land two #1 albums.
Leave This Town is Daughtry's first album to debut in the top spot. Daughtry bowed at #2 in November 2006. It first hit #1 in its ninth week. Daughtry has sold 4,494,000 copies. Of the thousands of albums that have been released in the nearly three years since Daughtry, only one other (Josh Groban's Noel) has reached the 4 million mark in sales.
Sam Raimi, Spider-Man movie trilogy director, has set to take the "World of Warcraft" computer game to the big screen. The "World of Warcraft" is a fantasy setting that revolves around the conflict between the rival forces of the Horde and the Alliance.
"World of Warcraft" game has generated into novels, action figures, apparel, comic books, and board games since its debut in 1994. "Wrath of the Lich King," the latest expansion to the multiplayer online role-playing game, sold more than 2.8 million copies in 24 hours of availability and more than 4 million in its first month.

Chris Brown has just released a public apology through a video today (July 20), the first since the domestic altercation between the R&B/pop singer and ex-girlfriend Rihanna that took place earlier this year.
"I've told Rihanna countless times and I'm telling you today, I'm truly, truly sorry that I wasn't able to handle the situation both differently and better," said Chris Brown.

The British supermodel Kate Moss seems serious about joining her beau's band, The Kills. Moss is to audition for beau Jamie Hince's band to replace singer Alison Mosshart.
Jamie Hince is currently searching for a new singer to perform with after Mosshart left the duo to focus on her other musical project The Dead Weather - which also includes White Stripes guitarist Jack White. Auditions are set to take place later this week, and although Moss has been dating Hince for two years, she won't receive any favourable treatment.
This is not the first time Kate Moss has made it clear she wants to perform with her man. Last month, the 35 year old model pleaded with Hince to let her join The Kills on stage at a charity event in London, but the guitarist was against the idea. Moss has previously admitted she would have been a singer if she hadn't made it as a model.
