Chris Brown has just released a public apology through a video today (July 20), the first since the domestic altercation between the R&B/pop singer and ex-girlfriend Rihanna that took place earlier this year.
"I've told Rihanna countless times and I'm telling you today, I'm truly, truly sorry that I wasn't able to handle the situation both differently and better," said Chris Brown.

Brown said he wanted to apology to Rihanna earlier but could not do so following his lawyer's advice.
